Two houses near the sea in Canggu. Two in the green valleys of Ubud. Each sleeps between four and eight.

A two-storey house of pale oak and lime plaster, ten minutes' walk from the beach at Pererenan. Two bedrooms upstairs, each with its own bath. Downstairs opens straight onto the pool and a small timber deck.
The loungers get shade from the pandan palms after three.
Limestone walls, teak loungers and a pool that holds the light from mid-morning. The living room has deep green sofas and a wall the sun crosses slowly all afternoon. Out in the garden, screened by palms, there's a stone bath.

Rooms painted the deep green of the valley after rain, with gable windows that open into the tree canopy. Rattan, old teak and warm lamps. The mist stays in the trees until about nine.

Four gabled pavilions around an eighteen-metre pool and an old flame tree that turns completely red late in the year. Room for two families, or a group of friends who want to cook together and swim before breakfast.
